PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police have released surveillance footage of an SUV they believe is responsible for a hit-and-run that claimed the life of a grandmother.
Theresa Fernandez, 74, was killed and her granddaughter was injured when they were struck trying to cross Broadway in the area of Marshall Street, according to police.
Police said the suspect vehicle is a newer-model, dark-colored SUV with possible damage to its grill and hood.
