Police looking for Pawtucket bank robbery suspect

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a bank in Pawtucket Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Pawtucket Police Department, officers were called to the Citizens Bank on Smithfield Avenue for reports of a robbery.

The suspect is a white male who was last seen wearing a white knit hat, sunglasses and a gray “AERO” baseball style shirt with red sleeves.

Police said he fled the scene with an unspecified amount of cash.
