FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WPRI) – Police in three different communities have issued the same scheme warning to residents.

A woman has been going door to door in Fairhaven, Dartmouth, and Mattapoisett asking elderly residents about medications, what kind of home care they receive and whether they live alone.

She claims to work with Community Nurse and Hospice Care and has a shirt with the company’s logo, but she does not work for them.

This woman is white, with red hair, and a chin piercing, and has been seen driving a dark colored SUV and a van.

If you or someone you know makes contact with her, don’t engage her, instead call police immediately.
