PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A Pawtucket man accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl may have other victims, according to police.

Pawtucket police said they arrested 53-year-old Johnnie Doe on Feb. 15, after detectives investigated the 11-year-old’s allegations.

According to police, the girl claimed Doe was a family friend. He was arraigned Feb. 18 on a charge of 2nd-degree child molestation and released on surety bail.

On Tuesday, Pawtucket police said they were investigating the possibility of other victims.

“During the court of the investigation, detectives received additional information that Mr. Doe may have assaulted other children,” police said in a press release.
