WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of two suspects wanted for stealing a handgun from a shooting range in Woonsocket last month.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the two men entered Bullseye Shooting Supplies on Aug. 31.

The ATF said one of the men asked the store manager for assistance with selecting ammunition while the second man stole a firearm, described as a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber pistol, from the countertop where it was being displayed.

The first suspect is described as a black male who is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. Surveillance images show he has a tattoo on his right forearm.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male who is about 5-foot-8 and weighs roughly 150 pounds. Surveillance images show he has tattoos on his right shoulder, right forearm and left wrist.

The pair could be seen in surveillance images leaving the range in a dark-colored Toyota sedan.

Anyone with information on the suspects should contact the ATF by phone at 800-283-4867, by email at ATFTips@atf.gov or online.
