FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Kenney Chesney will return to Gillette Stadium on Saturday for the final night of his Spread The Love Tour.

Doors for Saturday night’s show is scheduled to open at 4 p.m. and the show kicks off at 5 p.m.

Chesney will be joined by special guests Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion.

Fans attending the show should be aware of the following:

  • A clear bag policy is in effect at the stadium and bags larger than a small wristlet will not be allowed inside.
  • Parking lots will open at 2 p.m. ($40 for cars and motorcycles, $150 for buses, RVs and limousines)
  • Metal detectors will be in use at all stadium gates.

Fans should make sure to plan accordingly because traffic will cause delays both before and after the shows.Parking lot party

Laura Donahue, from New Hampshire, says she comes to Gillette every year to enjoy live country music.

“Every year it is rowdy out here,” she said.

“It’s a big party from here into the stadium,” added Ceci Fleming, of Needham, Mass.

According to data obtained by Eyewitness News, more people are taken into custody or arrested at these annual country festivals than at any other event held at Gillette.

Between 2010 and 2014, upwards of 100 people were put in protective custody each year for intoxication. In 2012 alone, more than 400 people were taken into protective custody and 101 were arrested.

The numbers have dipped slightly in recent years with fewer than 100 arrests in 2014 and 2015 combined.
