Police: 3 suspects rob Metro PCS at gunpoint

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two adults and one juvenile were arrested after allegedly robbing a Providence Metro PCS at gunpoint Wednesday.

Police said the three suspects entered the store on Admiral Street around 1:15 p.m. wearing black masks.

The trio fled the scene with several phones and cash.

Officers were able to track the suspects down to a nearby apartment building on Wild Street where they were taken into custody.

Police are investigating whether or not this robbery is connected to a recent robbery at another Metro PCS location in the capital city.

Charges against the suspects are forthcoming, according to police,  and no one was injured.
