NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — The 102nd Feast of the Blessed Sacrament kicked off on Thursday in New Bedford.
Feast organizers say the festivities will consist of 10,000 pounds of linguica, 8,000 pounds of pork, cod cakes, and all kinds of Portuguese specialties. There are also five spots for entertainment – the main stage along with four other continuous performances.
