FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — As the Patriots prepare for the big game against the Seahawks, their fans back home in New England hope a fourth Lombardi Trophy is on the way.
CBS Scene at Patriot Place hosted a Patriot Pride night on Friday, rallying fans for what is expected to be a great game.
“Every Super Bowl has been close so I feel like this one is going to be another close one so good match up, Chris Depta of Woonsocket said.
Fans throughout the restaurant were pulling for their favorite players to seal the deal in Arizona.
“Gotta go for Edelman,” Marilyn Weiss told Eyewitness News. “He just works so hard and he’s not the biggest guy out there but he can take the biggest hit, he doesn’t give up.”
Sunday will be the Patriots’ eighth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, and the sixth in the Brady-Belichick era.
