FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — A blow out score late in the 3rd quarter led some Pats fans to duck out of Gillette Stadium early.
Some fans skipped the AFC Championship award ceremony to beat the traffic and the weather.
“I left early because it’s a complete blood bath,” said Matt Lang. “We won! We killed them. We’re off to Arizona.”
Another fan said he can’t wait for the Patriots to take on the Seahawks because he and his daughter are going to that game, as well.
“We’ll get tickets. We’ll get a plane ticket,” said Michael Skoler, “the hotel room is the hard part.”
Kelly Paulson had such a good time, she lost her voice! But it was worth it.
“It was awesome. It was awesome, awesome, awesome! We’re going to the Super Bowl, baby,” said Kelly Paulson.
Now the Patriots will take the more than 2,000 mile journey to Glendale, Ariz. in a battle for the Vince Lombardi trophy.
“Seahawks are tough, but I think Brady is just as tough,” said Brian Carroll. “I’ll take Brady’s chances.
If you are thinking about making the trip to Arizona for the big game, you can expect ticket prices to cost thousands of dollars.
