FALL RIVER, Mass (WPRI) – A man and a woman are taken into custody following a stabbing at a restaurant.
Fall River Police say the altercation began at JC’s Café & Restaurant on Bedford Street around 1:50 a.m. Saturday.
Eyewitnesses told officers the two suspects, Edwin Pacheco, 24 and Crystal Colon, 27, both of Fall River, were escorted out of the bar for allegedly trying to give drinks to a person who had been “shut off.”
Moments after being kicked out of the bar, Colon allegedly pushed her way back in, Pacheco following behind, with a knife. As patrons and the owner once again tried to get the two people to leave the establishment, police say Pacheco stabbed three men, and then both suspects took off.

Police tracked down the suspects at Colon’s June Street apartment, where they were arrested.
