PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A vehicle was left completely destroyed after an overnight fire Wednesday.
The local fire department was alerted of the blaze on Niantic Avenue, near the Cranston border, just after 3 a.m. The car was found parked in a vacant lot.
There were initial reports that a person was trapped inside the sedan, but fire officials have not confirmed whether that was the case.
