EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – This week on Newsmakers: U.S. Attorney for Rhode Island Peter Neronha. In the wake of a federal public corruption probe, former R.I. House Speaker Gordon Fox was sentenced to three years in prison. Neronha discusses why he is satisfied with the plea deal, how the case began and addresses questions about whether there was more criminal behavior than what was revealed in the case. Neronha also talks broadly about terrorism cases in light of the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigation concerning 24-year-old Nicholas Rovinski of Warwick.
