New Bedford police find 3 missing children safe

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — New Bedford police say they have found the three missing children reported missing midday on Tuesday.

At approximately 3:40 p.m, police were able to report that the children and their mother were located and safe.

Police said Ayden Akell, 10, Daniel Medeiros, 6, and Elizjah Manchester, 2, were believed to be with their biological mother, Lindsey Manchester.

Manchester, 29, of Fall River, took the children on July 24 and had not returned them, according to police.
