EXETER, R.I. (WPRI) — A man who was found dead at a cell tower in Exeter Thursday afternoon has been identified as Tyler Bresnahan, 20, of Narragansett.

Rhode Island State Police announced the results of their investigation Friday, saying Bresnahan climbed to the top of the tower and fell.

Troopers, along with Exeter Fire and Rescue, responded to the scene off Yawgoo Valley Road at about 2:45 p.m. after his body was found.

Police said Bresnahan died from injuries suffered in the fall. His death appears to be accidental.
