Man injured after falling against RIPTA bus

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A man suffer minor injuries after falling against a RIPTA bus Friday afternoon.

Providence police said that at about 5:30 p.m. Friday, a 55 year-old man who was waiting at a bus stop in Kennedy Plaza apparently fell against the side of a bus that was dropping off passengers.

The man, who according to police was allegedly intoxicated, hurt his left arm and was taken to the hospital.

The bus was not damaged but was towed from the scene after an on-site investigation.
