Thief caught on camera stealing car parts in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A person who was caught on camera stealing auto parts is wanted by police.

The Cranston Police Department shared two videos on their Facebook page Tuesday in hopes of tracking down the suspect.

A white man with facial hair is seen on surveillance video parking a red Ford F-150 with no license plates behind Park Ave Auto Services on April 7 around 2 p.m.

According to police, the suspect then began loading the truck with various metal items from behind a dumpster, including an engine block, transmission, exhaust pipes and a radiator.
