Police looking for suspect in robbery at TD Bank in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery at the TD Bank at 178 Phoenix Avenue in Cranston.

Cranston Police Major Todd Patalano released surveillance photos of the suspect.

Patalano said the man was wearing a bright yellow jacket, hat and sunglasses when he walked into the bank just before 3 p.m. Sunday and passed the teller a note.

In the note, the man claimed to have a gun, according to police. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said no one was injured in the incident.
