Police hope to ID West Warwick thief

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who they say stole someone’s wallet and credit card from a local car dealership.

According to the West Warwick Police Department, a woman left her wallet at the dealership’s service center on May 3.

Police said the suspect took the woman’s wallet from the service center and used it at a store on Route 2 a short time later.

The woman was last seen wearing a teal long-sleeved shirt, jeans and tan boots carrying a black backpack.
