Police: Coventry man was dealing drugs out of his home

COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — A Coventry man was arrested Monday following a weeks-long narcotics investigation.

Anthony Denton was arrested after the Coventry Police Department received reports that he was dealing drugs from his Capwell Avenue home.

Police said detectives began conducting surveillance and confirmed Denton appeared to be routinely distributing narcotics.

Officers executed a search warrant at the home and said they found cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, Hydrocodone pills and packaging materials.

Denton, 20, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a schedule I drug and two counts of possession of schedule II drugs.
