Plow truck catches fire in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston firefighters responded to Atwood Avenue overnight after a plow truck caught fire.

According to police, the plow driver was experiencing engine trouble and pulled over in the area Plainfield Street around 2:30 a.m. when the flames broke out.

First responders were able to make quick work of the fire.

There were no injuries.
