Coventry man accused of dealing cocaine from his Jeep

COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a Coventry man after officers found more than 100 grams of cocaine in his home,

According to the Coventry Police Department, Keven Alsina, 25, was arrested after officers executed a search warrant on his home Wednesday evening.

Police said they’d received complaints of drug distribution occurring near Alsina’s Main Street residence.

During the search, police said they found 108 grams of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials and multiple cell phones.

Police also seized Alsina’s Jeep Wrangler which they believe was used to conduct drug transactions.
Alsina was arraigned Thursday as a bail violator on a January 2019 drug possession charge. He was ordered held without bail at the ACI on the new charges.
