Car fire snarls traffic on I-95 in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Traffic on I-95 came to a halt Thursday morning after a car caught fire in Warwick.

It happened around 11 a.m. in the area of Exit 15.

The left and left-center lanes were blocked as a result, according to the R.I. Department of Transportation, but the scene has since been cleared.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time.
