CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a man and woman were killed in a dirt bike crash in Cranston Wednesday night.
Cranston Police Maj. Todd Patalano said the crash involved a “dirt-bike style” motorcycle and an SUV and happened at the corner of Broad Street and Wheeler Avenue.

Patalano said the driver of the dirt bike and his passenger were rushed to Rhode Island Hospital where both were later pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash and the victims’ identities are unknown at this time.
