EXETER, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island State Police seized 94 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on I-95 North in Exeter Saturday morning.
Troopers initially stopped the vehicle around 11:15 a.m. for a seatbelt violation.
The department posted a picture of the drugs to their official Twitter account. They said the marijuana, which was sealed in one-pound plastic bags, was found in the trunk of the vehicle.
They also seized $6,165 in cash and a set of nunchucks.

Junjie Li, 28, of Brooklyn, New York, and his passenger Zhong Ming Kuang, 49, of Staten Island, New York were each charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of more than five kilograms of marijuana.
Li is also charged with possession of a weapon other than firearm prohibited and he was issued a citation for no seat belt use by the front-seat passenger.
Both men are being held at the ACI pending an arraignment in District Court on Tuesday.
