Police searching for Narragansett man wanted on drug charges

One arrested, one wanted for selling drugs in South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested one man and are searching for another in connection with a narcotics investigation in South Kingstown.

According to South Kingstown police, an arrest warrant has been issued for convicted felon Larry Perry, 44, of Narragansett. He is wanted for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy.

During the month of April 2019, police received information regarding two men selling crack cocaine in South Kingstown and Narragansett.

Following the investigation, police also arrested convicted felon Shane Ford, 32, of South Kingstown, and charged him with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy.

Police said Ford was on probation at the time of his arrest. He was ordered to held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston.
