EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — Crews responded to a fire at a coffee shop Tuesday night in East Greenwich.
Firefighters were called to Drip Coffee House on South County Trail around 8 p.m.
“This certainly isn’t what we were hoping to post just after successfully celebrating our 1.5 year business anniversary but unfortunately yesterday evening we suffered a fire and will be closed until further notice,” the coffee shop wrote on Facebook.
A worker told 12 News they were closed at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
The front windows of the business appeared to be damaged.
“We look forward to getting to work and get Drip Coffee House reopened as soon as possible so that we can serve you all again!” the Facebook post continued.
