“It didn’t look good.” James Devlin was at his daughter’s house on School Street Saturday night right across the street from where the crash happened.
As soon as he heard it, he went outside and called 911.
“I actually heard a thump, when I come out all I saw was debris,” Devlin added. “It was just a maze of I don’t know, dirt and bike parts were everywhere in the streets.”
Taunton Police said a car driven by an 18-year-old woman and the motorcycle were driving in the same direction on School Street.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney, the driver of the motorcycle attempted to pass the car on its left side while the car was turning left.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Morton Hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation by Taunton Police Detectives and the Massachusetts State Police.
