FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- A 22-year-old Woonsocket man was seriously injured in a single-car crash on I-95 South in Foxboro Friday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Police said their preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a 2005 Saab lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail on I-95 South just prior to I-495.
It's unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Police said the driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
