Police: Victim in Fall River shooting in stable condition

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — A man is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the groin Friday night, according to police.

Officials said 10 rounds were fired from a vehicle on Lawrence Street just before nine o’clock.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to call Fall River Police at (508) 676-8511.
