Police seek armed suspect who robbed North Attleboro store

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are reaching out to the public for help in identifying a man who held up a North Attleboro convenience store over the weekend.

According to North Attleboro police, the suspect entered the Speedway on North Washington Street just after 2 a.m. Sunday and demanded money from the cash drawer as he displayed a silver and black handgun at his waist.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male standing approximately 5-foot-10, with a thin build and possible facial hair.

Police said he was last seen heading eastbound on foot towards Route 1.
