DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — A 56-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth on New Year’s Eve, according to police.
Detective Kyle Costa said Wendy Tolley, of New Bedford, was hit by a Toyota Prius on State Road around 10 p.m.
Costa said despite efforts from first responders, Tolley succumbed to her injuries on scene.
The driver of the Prius, a 24-year-old Dartmouth woman, has not been charged, though the crash remains under investigation.
