WAREHAM, Mass. (WPRI) — A New Bedford woman has been identified as the person killed after a car crashed on I-195 shortly before 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The 2001 Honda Civic driven by Jacquelyn Perry, 30, was traveling westbound when it veered off the left side of the roadway, then over-corrected to the right, going off the right side of the highway and rolling over, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Perry was the only one in the car and was declared dead at the scene.

State police crash investigators are still investigating what happened.
