NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — A fire broke out at what appeared to be an unoccupied building late Sunday night on Welby Road in New Bedford.

Fire crews say the roof collapsed in the rear of the building, and firefighters were on scene for at least an hour putting out hot spots.
