DOUGLAS, Mass. (WPRI) — Despite falling through the ice at Badluck Lake, two dogs are extremely lucky to be alive.
Firefighters rescued two “very friendly” dogs who escaped their enclosure early Monday morning, according to the Douglas Fire Department.
Both dogs were quickly pulled from the icy water and are expected to be OK.
“We are very happy this had a positive outcome,” the department said.
