1 injured in crash on I-195 in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — One person was injured in a two-car crash on I-195 in Dartmouth early Friday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Police said that person was evaluated at a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

It is unclear exactly what time the crash occurred, but a 12 News crew drove by the scene around 3:15 a.m.

It’s unclear at this time what caused the crash.

Crews extinguish New Bedford fire

New Bedford mayor concerned by lack of vaccination sites in Southeastern Mass.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — When New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell looked at a map of where vaccination sites are located across Massachusetts, he wasn't pleased with what he saw.

"I was a little incredulous," he recalled. "I couldn't actually believe that there were no sites set up in Southeastern Massachusetts, or even Cape Cod, or even in far Western Mass."
