PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Izzy Foundation is gearing up to host its 12th annual gala.

This year’s “purple tie” fundraiser is scheduled for Oct. 13 and will take place at the Providence Public Library.

This year’s theme is “The Izzys” — modeled after the Oscars — and will feature a “Purple Carpet.”
