PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A teen was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after police say he was stabbed Tuesday afternoon.
According to Providence Police Maj. David Lapatin, the teenage boy was stabbed in Kennedy Plaza.
Lapatin said the boy was rushed to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
Lapatin said they do not have a suspect in custody. Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
