PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Providence continue to investigate a series of violent incidents, from a deadly shooting to a woman reportedly being pulled out of her car and beaten.

In the above video, 12 News anchor Kim Kalunian interviews Public Safety Commissioner Steven Paré about the uptick in crime and what’s being done to address it, including a partnership with R.I. State Police.
