Police place crime scene marker next to shell casing on Salmon Street in Providence.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police blocked off a portion of Salmon Street in Providence on Saturday afternoon. 

Police could be seen putting up crime scene tape and placing evidence markers on the ground. 12 News cameras also captured several shell casings in the road.

12 News has reached out to the Providence Police Department for more information but has not yet heard back.
