Police find assortment of drugs in East Providence home

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — An East Providence man was arrested after police found a variety of drugs inside of his home.

East Providence Police executed a search warrant at 32-year-old Christopher Wallace’s Irving Avenue home in early April.

With the help of a police K9, detectives said they found an array of drugs in Wallace’s home:

  • 23 grams of cocaine
  • 551 grams of marijuana
  • Klonopin, Hydrocodone and Lorazepam pills

Police also found $64,990 in cash.

Wallace was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
