PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) ─ A motorcyclist died in a crash in Providence Wednesday evening, according to R.I. State Police.
The crash, which involved a motorcycle and a vehicle, occurred on Route 146 South near the Admiral Street exit around 6:30 p.m.
Police said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
