PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A New Bedford woman has died after a crash on I-95 in Providence Saturday night, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Jessica Coreas-Hernandez, 22, was riding her motorcycle at a high rate of speed around 11:45 p.m. near the Thurbers Avenue exit when she lost control and struck the jersey barrier in the center median.
State police say Coreas-Hernandez was thrown from her vehicle and was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
