A woman who police say fatally stabbed a 15-year-old boy last May is now charged with robbing two teenagers earlier this week.
According to Providence police, Natashza Charon, 19, and her boyfriend, Charles DeLuca, 18, are facing charges of first-degree robbery and conspiracy. They were arraigned Friday and ordered held without bail.
Police said Charon has been out on bond following a manslaughter charge after she allegedly stabbed Jaheim Carter in the back during a family feud in Olneyville. Police said the fight was between her boyfriend and Carter’s family and involved at least six people.
According to police, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man said the couple assaulted and robbed them during a fight at their house. One of the victims was stabbed in the wrist. They told police Charon and DeLuca took their money and cell phones.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Charon and DeLuca, who were found hiding in their attic on Carleton Street. The two were arrested, with Charon being held as a bail violator from her manslaughter charge as well as other charges she faced last year, including drug possession, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
