PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Providence man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after he was shot with an arrow.
According to the police report obtained by Eyewitness News, the victim said he was talking to a friend in the middle of a parking lot on Hartford Avenue when he felt an object hit him in the back. He turned to see where it came from then felt a sharp pain and realized he had been struck with an arrow.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, police said. He was seen fleeing toward Melissa and Barbara Streets.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police are working to obtain any surveillance footage of the incident as they continue to investigate.
