PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The third and final day of PVDFest was canceled Sunday due to lightning and flash flooding near the festival, according to Providence Mayor Brett Smiley.

A flash flood warning is in effect for parts of Providence and Kent Counties until 4:45 p.m.

Festival goers are encouraged to use caution when driving home and avoid flooded streets.
