PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police were investigating Wednesday after a car was shot at in Providence.

Providence Police Maj. David Lapatin told 12 News people were inside the car when it was hit, but no one was injured.

It’s unclear at this time where the shooting took place.

The car was pulled over on Charles Street with police on scene, while officers were also seen investigating on Fillmore Street.
