Boston Pops concert spreads holiday cheer at PPAC

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — An exciting holiday tradition continued at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) Saturday night.

The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra took the stage with conductor Keith Lockhart to perform their holiday tour.

Eyewitness News anchor Shannon Hegy took part in the event as a special guest narrator reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Lockhart says his favorite part of each show is the sing-along at the end.

The Boston Pops have been performing for the holidays for more than two decades.
