Board of Licenses to discuss the future of the Foxy Lady

UPDATE: Foxy Lady to remain closed until Wednesday »

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A hearing will be held Monday with the city's Board of Licenses regarding the future of the Foxy Lady.

The gentleman's club was ordered to close throughout the weekend after three employees were arrested for allegedly soliciting undercover officers for sexual acts.

Police say an investigation began after a female employee said she was sexually assaulted by a male patron.

It is believed by police that club management knew about the alleged prostitution.

Attorneys representing the Foxy Lady say that the alleged solicitations happened out of management oversight.

The Board of Licenses is set to meet at 3 p.m.
