PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Nine people were forced from their homes after a fire broke out at their Providence home early Wednesday morning.
Crews responded to America Street around 5 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The Red Cross has been called in to help two residents find shelter. Officials say the other seven residents have already found a place to stay.
The cause remains under investigation.
